Focusing on the potential for older adults to drive social and political change, this study proposes a new social movement that challenges conventional views on aging. It explores the role of education as a catalyst for organizing such a movement, analyzing historical precedents and addressing barriers like inertia and leadership development. Through interviews with leaders in organizations for older adults, the research critiques existing medical and economic perspectives on aging, aiming to reshape public attitudes and government policies.
