The establishment of technology transfer offices (TTOs) at research institutions is proposed as a means to assist scientists in developing spin-offs. Despite existing research on individual characteristics influencing spin-off creation, there is a notable gap in literature regarding how TTOs impact scientists' inclination to pursue spin-off opportunities.
