The Body in the Bonfire

Set against the backdrop of a prestigious prep school, the story follows Faith Fairchild, a caterer and minister's wife, who takes on a teaching role to support a targeted African-American student, Daryl Martin. As she confronts a series of racially motivated attacks, Faith uncovers a web of secrets and rivalries within the academy. When her cooking ingredients are tampered with and a suspect is found dead, Faith realizes that a dangerous threat looms over both Daryl and the school, putting her own life at risk.
