Focusing on contemporary integrative Western-Chinese organizational leadership, this study builds upon Kegan's constructive development theory to propose a new leadership development level called the Global Leadership Development Level (GLDL). It aims to bridge the gap in leadership literature by linking global leadership development to constructive development theory. The GLDL construct serves as a foundation for understanding Western-Chinese integrative leadership and transcultural leadership, addressing the increasing importance of global leadership in current discussions.
