Having her mother die two years ago was tough for 12 year old Erica Owens. Watching the police take him away only brings back haunting memories of the day her dad was arrested. However, Erica's sharp eyesight helps her rescue the dog. Erica nearly explodes with excitement when she discovers evidence to prove her father's innocence. While investigating the evidence, she becomes a victim of a serious hit-run accident, resulting in a near- death experience that takes her on a journey. While in the hospital, the valuable piece of evidence is accidentally tossed in the trash. Has she also lost the only way to help her dad? With the help of a look-alike police sketch, a customer's receipt and her father's lawyer, Erica learns that with prayer and faith in God, miracles still happen.
