There is a preponderance of Tang poets and extra space has been given to Lin Bu of the Song dynasty, who has been relatively neglected. However, the reader will get a flavor of Classical Chinese poetry in its many manifestations. There are brief overviews of the various dynasties, as well of the individual poets. The original poems, in traditional Chinese characters, are included.
