Just as Ordinary Victims gave a poignant account of one child's journey approaching adulthood and the lessons learned, Human Cages follows an older David as he continues to learn from life's troubled and sometimes confusing education on the power that our choices have in determining how we experience our lives. He continues to be amused, baffled and educated as he encounters others and observes their lives based on their decisions, such as Sebastian Edwards. Sebastian, born in an upwardly mobile family, who had all the economic and social, advantages many only dreamed of. Sebastian, who soared through college with little or few obstacles and walked out of college into a job of his choice. Yet, somehow, he ended up in prison. Continue to travel with David as he meets many persons like Sebastian, you and I, whose free will choices lead us down paths we may never have imagined.
