Charleigh Winters, a local clothing designer, is famous for spearheading Angelwood's Festival each December for the past six years. but this year's season is presenting challenges her meticulously planning self could have never prepared for. First, her best friend and soon to be former roommate is getting married in the coming year, making Charleigh realize all the more that this is the fifth year in a row that her status is still utterly single, a sting that is felt more than she would like to admit. Then, there's Liam McConnell, the only man Charleigh has ever loved, in town this Christmas with his all too long-standing girlfriend, Charleigh's nemesis since high school, Nicole Jenkel. As the Christmas songs gleefully and achingly play throughout Angelwood, will Charleigh be able to rise above her emotions, or will this be the first year in fifty that the festival does not take place?
