The town and county of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, has a tradition of hospitality that dates back over two centuries, when German settlers first arrived to carve a new life from the wilderness. This wonderful collection of recipes from Lunenburg kitchens began as a fundraising project by the Ladies Auxiliary for the Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital and was first published in 1953.
