“Puppet” is certainly an account of one’s life. It discusses the various phases of our lives. From the very Pre-Birth stage to the death, it showcases the emotions experienced by the man. “Puppet” is drawn by a fatalistic brush, accompanied by vivid imageries, symbols and prose alike characterization to bring forth the hapless condition of man against fate.About Author:Syed Murtaza Ali Shah is a 23 years old guy from Peshawar, currently pursuing his Post-Graduation in English Literature. He has been trying the poetry genre since Grade 1. From those childish flawed meters to now a published poet in various anthologies; he writes with aim to rattle the literary Elitism present in the region and render the native taste to the world. He is indebted to the Greeks and Romantics for the picturesque observations, Saadat Hasan Manto for the realism and Jaun Elia for the pessimistic flavour, woven in Murtaza’s art.
