After going through a tornado and a hurricane, why would 12-year-old Devon Cullin venture onto The Big Island of Hawaii--just days before his 13th birthday? But venture he does, and meets a family who has lived there for their entire life. Together with Akela and Kahawai, Devon decides to go up onto the volcano and finds himself trapped up there overnight.
