Dieses Buch gilt einer in der Fremdsprachendidaktik hoch aktuellen Thematik, nämlich der Frage nach der Einflussnahme eines kulturspezifischen Lernverhaltens auf das Fremdsprachenlernen, hier speziell die Wortschatzarbeit im Unterricht des Deutschen als Fremdsprache. Dieses Thema steht im Spannungsfeld interdisziplinärer Forschung (Germanistik, Didaktik und Methodik, Deutsch als Fremdsprache, interkulturelle Kommunikation und Pädagogik). Die „Innenperspektive“ der Autorin als ehemalige chinesische Deutschlernende und jetzige Sprachlehrende werden in die Untersuchung einbezogen. Die Aussagen im Buch beziehen sich hauptsächlich auf chinesische Deutschlernende und dürften somit nicht nur für die Unterrichtspraxis des Deutschen als Fremdsprache in China von Interesse sein, sondern auch für die sinologische Forschung. LIU Liang ist seit über 10 Jahren im Fachgebiet fremdsprachlichen Didaktik, Methodik und interkulturelle Kommunikation tätig.
