Suetonius was a Roman historian of the early Imperial era, renowned for his biographical work. His most significant surviving contribution is a collection of lives of twelve Roman rulers, chronicling their reigns from Julius Caesar to Domitian. Though many of his other writings are lost, those that remain offer valuable insights into Roman society and its prominent individuals.
