Focusing on Coinbase as a case study, this thesis aims to enhance understanding of the cryptocurrency industry while providing strategic recommendations for its management and potential investors. Employing qualitative analyses such as the Five C's, SWOT, PESTLE, and Porter’s Five Forces, alongside a quantitative assessment through eleven key financial ratios compared to Nasdaq and Intercontinental Exchange, the work seeks to foster greater acceptance of cryptocurrencies and offer insights for various stakeholders in the cryptoeconomy.
