When Herbert Terrell falls off a mountain in Czechoslovakia, accidental death seems the inevitable verdict. But Terrell’s young step-daughter, Tossa, is not the type to bow to the inevitable. She’d been planning to spend her summer vacation in Europe in any case, so what could be simpler than to persuade her companions to make a minor detour to the scene of the crime.
