Focusing on the phenomenon of projection in English, the book delves into Halliday's systemic functional linguistics (SFL) model to clarify the grammatical roles of projecting and projected clauses. It examines their distribution features in contemporary language and traces their evolution over time, providing a detailed exploration of both synchronic and diachronic aspects of this linguistic phenomenon.

This book provides a broad theoretical and practical position on how ritual behavior functions in Chinese corporations. Rituals are structured to allow individual agents or corporations and corporate groups to transform through different contexts, enact different roles, share the same identities, keep hierarchy levels, provide close relationships with government, weave a guanxi network structure, integrate specific cultural elements, and, more importantly, permit the government and corporations to promote both stability and change in Chinese society. By bridging performativity theory and indigenous perspectives, I have constructed a conceptual and analytical framework for understanding ritual-embedded corporate behavior and the role of institutions in the economies - both historical and contemporary - in a unified way.

We focus the book on the Chinese business law, develop a deep understanding of how the Chinese law works in practice in China. The significant achievement of our book is to provide a framework for business law that transcends particular jurisdictions. This means that our book highlights the economic logic of business law. Furthermore, Chinese culture and politics affects the law also in particular field. This is constrained with globalization and business integration. In addition, this book aims to illuminate the themes of Chinese business law and its link with Germans.
