The main aim of this book is in a conceptually correct way and, at the same time, in a pleasant form, combining theoretical concepts with their practical application, to describe the main topics which are part of the subject of Health Economics. This book is particularly addressed to economists without a training in Health Economics and to physicians, nurses, and other health profes-sionals, without an economic training.
