Set in Kibera, Kenya, the story follows Rose, a passionate soccer player who defies societal norms in a community where girls are discouraged from playing the sport. Her journey explores themes of resilience, empowerment, and the struggle for gender equality, as she challenges traditional expectations and fights for her right to pursue her passion. Through her love for soccer, Rose inspires others and seeks to change perceptions about girls in sports.

The Embodied Path weaves inspiring and ordinary body stories together with discussion questions, writing prompts, and breath and body practices to help anyone interested in creating more capacity for compassion for themselves and others by doing the internal work to contend with trauma and privilege.
