Geeta objevila kouzlo psaného slova už v dětství a brzy poté začala tvořit vlastní příběhy. Již od páté třídy, kdy vyhrála svou první literární soutěž a obdržela povzbuzení od své učitelky, sní o kariéře spisovatelky. Po absolvování vysoké školy v oboru komunikace a žurnalistiky se věnovala žurnalistice a psaní pro různá média. Ve svém volném čase se Geeta ráda věnuje čtení, cestování, vaření, běhání a pozorování lidí, které považuje za „výzkum pro své knihy“. V současné době žije v Connecticutu s rodinou a pracuje na svých dalších dvou románech.
