Focusing on the training of medical specialists in Cuba, this work addresses the integration of Public Health principles into the education of General Comprehensive Medicine residents, particularly in preventive care for older adults. Utilizing surveys and interviews for initial research, the study reveals positive outcomes, indicating that the proposed methodology enhances the teaching-learning process. The findings suggest that this innovative approach is practical and effective for preparing residents to engage in educational preventive work with the elderly in primary health care settings.

Focusing on the preparation of teachers to address preconceptional maternal risk, this research highlights a critical gap in current medical training. Through theoretical and empirical methods, it identifies the need for a structured system of didactic actions designed for both students and educators. This system comprises four stages aimed at effectively identifying and guiding women at risk. Expert consultations confirm the proposal's relevance, and the findings demonstrate its potential to address significant issues in health professional education.

La obra aborda la formación académica de especialistas en universidades médicas en Cuba, enfocándose en la preparación de residentes de Medicina General Integral para la atención educativa preventiva con adultos mayores. Se presentan resultados favorables sobre la metodología utilizada, destacando su viabilidad y efectividad en la práctica.

La investigación se centra en la preparación de profesores para prevenir riesgos maternos preconcepcionales en mujeres. Utiliza métodos teóricos y empíricos para evaluar la situación actual y propone un sistema de acciones didácticas en cuatro etapas, dirigido a estudiantes y docentes, validado por especialistas. Los resultados demuestran su efectividad.
