Nucleus-outgrower schemes (NOSs) aim to support smallholder farmers and address issues of large-scale agriculture. This paper analyzes the impacts of Amatheon Agri Zambia's outgrower program, revealing varied participation and effects on conservation agriculture, maize productivity, and women's micronutrient uptake. The findings highlight the complexities and dependencies of NOSs on project design and local conditions.
