In this third installment of The Dark Angel Wars, the lines between good and evil begin to blur as the gods of Sark and Shea begin to choose champions to represent them. The selbdes, gifted beings from the land of Tahln, must go into the dark city of Trost to gather information on the plans of the Shadow-god, Nometheog, and his vessel, Shekley. There, they will face shadows that they have not encountered before. Characters from unlikely backgrounds will ally with each other and for some, not even an angel can save them.
