Risa se hluboce ponořila do tvůrčího psaní po zvláštní události, kdy našla tři tužky v úhledné hromádce v prázdném bytě své matky. Psaní je nyní pro Risau prioritou a vášní. Dříve pracovala v nestranické neziskové organizaci zaměřené na podporu aktivní účasti naší demokracie, zejména s ohledem na volby. V současnosti se Risa věnuje čtení, cvičení nebo terapeutickému žehlení, pokud nejsou v okolí vnoučata.
