This book is about Inclusion of persons with Special Needs in our society. Bringing up a child with special needs is a challenging reality. Most parents have neither the experience nor the wisdom to navigate through this uncharted and frightening terrain. This is a chronicle of the author's daughter, Medha, who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Medha is now 28, and leads a fairly ‘normal’ and active life. The aim of writing this narrative is to encourage parents who face a similar situation. The author hopes that reading this would help teachers and doctors to become more compassionate and understanding. The book is not only for persons working with children with special needs - it is also aimed at making our society more inclusive and accepting.
