This study presents emerging trends in health supply chain management and health commodity management. Logistics and supply chain modernism are increasingly significant in the research agenda and practice within developing countries. Economic and political factors are drawing attention to healthcare, particularly through the process of local health corporatization, which integrates health commodity management systems. The growing demand for healthcare services and the availability of health commodities are crucial for enhancing quality health service delivery. Emerging technologies and modernized systems are expected to drive improvements in healthcare responsiveness. Given limited resources and rising expenditures, there is a pressing need for public and private health rationalization to meet the increasing quality demands for goods and services. This necessitates a reflective change affecting diagnosis, treatment processes, and logistics, which are vital for service quality and commodity security. Commodity security ensures that clients can access essential health commodities when and where needed, aligning with the World Health Organization's essential medicines strategy.
