Sara Dyerová se již více než třicet let věnuje studiu Bible a výuce Božího slova. Po kariéře interiérové designérky získala magisterský titul v oboru teologie. Již mnoho let slouží v The Chapel v Akronu v Ohiu jako ředitelka pro ženy, kde vyučuje a mentoruje nespočet žen všech věkových kategorií. Ve volném čase se také věnuje dobrovolnictví v organizaci Habitat for Humanity jako konzultantka. S manželem Danem se nedávno přestěhovali do Nashvillu v Tennessee, kde nyní žijí. Mají tři dospělé děti a jedno novorozené vnouče.
