150 years of Bayer AG – this anniversary provides a reason for presenting to the general public the exclusive collection of the global concern in the Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin. It is a collection whose beginnings can be traced back to the founders of the company during the nineteenth century, and which today includes more than 2,000 works by famous artists. Its main focus lies in the fields of German Expressionism and Classical Modernism, the École de Paris and Art Informel.
