Ilon Wiklandová je uznávaná ilustrátorka, jejíž umělecký styl se vyvinul během studií v Stockholmu a dalších evropských městech. Její celoživotní dílo je neoddělitelně spjato s tvorbou Astrid Lindgrenové, pro kterou vytvořila ikonické ilustrace inspirované atmosférou textů. Wiklandová dokázala vizuálně ztvárnit ducha příběhů, čímž dala podobu nezapomenutelným postavám. Její rozsáhlá sbírka originálních ilustrací je darována Estonsku a připomínkou jejího jedinečného přínosu k dětské literatuře.
