Tato autorka je celoživotní umělkyně, která se po letech strávených jinde vrátila do své rodné Cornwally. Její umělecká kariéra začala v teenagerském věku a od roku 1997, kdy získala svou první zakázku od společnosti Hallmark Cards UK, se věnuje profesionální tvorbě. Specializuje se na ilustraci dětských knih, jejíž práce byla publikována po celém světě a přeložena do více než deseti jazyků. Kromě ilustrací se věnuje také malbě na plátno a desku, výstavám, tvorbě obalů CD a animacím hudebních videoklipů.
