Leipzig music trail

The Leipzig Music Trail is Germany’s first tour devoted to musical history and encompasses the places where famous composers once lived and worked. After all, from Telemann, Bach and Mendelssohn to the Schumanns, Wagner and Mahler, many major composers have left their mark on Leipzig. This illustrated guidebook tells you everything you need to know about the 23 stops making up the Leipzig Music Trail as well as the 16 stops on both the Leipzig Music Trip and the Leipzig Music Trek. In addition, maps show all three tours and provide other useful information for tourists, making this 84-page guide essential for everyone keen to explore Leipzig’s fascinating musical history. The guidebook has been published in German language in 2009 and is now available also in English.
