German invesment funds involved in land grabbing

After the first efforts to explain the phenomenon land grabbing had focused strongly on government or government-supported activities in Arab and Asian countries, there were substantial indications that other actors were at least equally relevant in the land rush. Especially the financial sector seemed to have been overlooked.
