Leipzig!

Installed as Bishop of Merseburg in 1004, Thietmar recorded in his Chronicle that Bishop Eido died on December 20, 1015, while passing through urbs Libzi. Thus began the history of Leipzig, which is now celebrating its 1000th anniversary. On this occasion, well-known city guide Sebastian Ringel has written a volume of engaging narratives summarizing the history of the Saxon trade-show city.
