Více o knize
As contribution to the international workshop and research „ROMA 20-25“, UltraAgro draws a spatial and conceptual vision for the reinvention of the Campagna Romana—a new storyline between city, periphery, habitat, natural spaces, mobility and energy. UltraAgro aims at projective territories in a processual design perspective, in an actualisation of a Roman grid model. This book collects materials, ideas, and discussion of the research and design process at the Regional Building and Urban Planning section at Leibniz Universität Hannover LUH in 2014 and 2015, that led to the installation of UltraAgro in the „ROMA 20-25“ exhibition at the Museum MAXXI in December 2015/ January 2016. The museum MAXXI National Museum for the Arts of XXI Century Rome and the City Government of Rome have been organisators and funding partners for the international collaboration of „ROMA 20-25“. The cooperation was launched within the framework of the Italian National Research Project „ReCycle Italy“, that aims at conceiving new design concepts and tools for deeply changing spatial, social, and economic conditions of the city, understanding recycling as architectural, urban, and territorial strategy. The goal of the initiative was to start the process of designing and discussing a future urban vision for the metropolitan area of Rome—as well as to discuss and indicate new models, new concepts and new tool in urban design in general.
