On friction-induced vibrations during tightening of bolted joints
Autoři
Více o knize
Bolted joints are often safety-relevant components. Therefore, not only the design for the time of operation is important, but also the assembly. This thesis examines friction-induced vibrations during tightening of bolted joints, so-called stick-slip, which makes control of the tightening process more difficult and can lead to damage. The oscillations were described analytically, and characteristic system constants were derived from them, which enable precise process monitoring. The constants were validated in numerical simulations and experiments. In addition, a real-time algorithm was developed which allows a prediction of the process state during the tightening process and thus further increases the connection quality.
