Od této knihy jsem měla před jejím čtením vyšší očekávání. Nevím proč. Možná jsem po přečtení obálky knihy očekávala trochu víc... romantiky? Ale nevadilo mi, že jí nakonec moc nebylo. Myslím, že kniha je zbytečně dlouhá. Má přes 600 stran a ze začátku byla dost matoucí a trvalo mi příliš dlouho, než se oba protagonisté setkali. Také je tam tolik jmen, že si je nedokážu zapamatovat a spojit je se správnými postavami. Musím ale říct, že na konci knihy jsem byla ráda, že jsem si ji přečetla, protože je v něčem zajímavá a jedinečná ve srovnání s jinými fantasy knihami, které jsem četla. A něco mě nutí chtít si přečíst i pokračování.
