Je to druhá knížka od autorky, kterou jsem četla (1. byl Icebreaker) a musím říct, že byť je mi prostředí krasobruslení a hokeje mnohem bližší a mám ráda takový typ knížek, tak V divočině se mi asi líbilo o trochu víc. Zaprvé mi přišly mnohem sympatičtjší postavy (hlavní hrdinka prvního dílu byla místy celkem protivná a štvala mě). Zadruhé je tento příběh za mě více slow burn, byť vlastně hned na začátku knihy je spicy scéna. Obecně těch spicy scén tu bylo míň než v prvním díle a přišly mi méně na sílu. A zatřetí to prostředí letního tábora bylo moc hezky vykreslené a z knihy prostě čišelo léto. Taky mi přijde, že oproti předchozímu dílu tu nebyla žádná delší vyplňková místa, kdy jsem si říkala, že to autorka jen natahuje, aby byla kniha delší. Fakt mě to bavilo číst, už mám doma třetí díl, na který se po přečtení V divočině moc těším. Určitě můžu doporučit i těm, koho třeba předchozí díl trochu odradil.
