Postava Kirké má výbušný vývoj. Od malého nepřijatého dítěte, přes zvědavou zamilovanou dívku, po silnou čarodějku. Vnímat její cestu a pocity, zásadně ovlivněné opovržením ze strany jejich nejbližších, je skutečný zážitek. I když Kirké zrovna dělá rozhodnutí, které je na první pohled špatné, chápete důvod, který k tomu má. Určitě doporučuji, zejména pro ty, co se zajímají o mytologii, kterou zde autorka převyprávěla velmi povedeně.
