Sotah

Set in Jerusalem's ultra-Orthodox haredi community, the story follows Dina Reich, a young woman accused of adultery. Raised to conform, she secretly longs for more than her restricted life offers. After a thwarted romance, she enters an arranged marriage with a kind but silent man. Her repressed desires erupt in a dangerous obsession with a married man, leading to her exile in New York City.
