Miranda, 34, haunted by a painful childhood and too nice for her own good, is looking for both her life purpose and romantic love. In London in the 1970s New Age activities abound and she throws herself into meditation and self- development workshops. She is befriended by Cassie, a clairvoyant healer, who predicts a positive future.
