Spíš kýč, postavy karikatury a překonstruovaná zápletka. Nedodržuje zásady cozy crime žánru. Neobratně silou tlačí čtenáře do závěrů, až má člověk modřiny, aby je s velkou pompou odhalil jako předsudečné. Ale dá se to. Asi dobrý kandidát v některém z překladů, pokud se člověk učí cizí jazyk.
