Cassidy is feeling very unsettled. She doesn’t get on well with her mum’s new boyfriend and her old group of friends seems to be breaking up. She starts going out with Jonah, and spends more and more time with him and his older friends, flattered to be included in their talks about cults, wars, the oppression of women and the evils of religion. Jonah is sweet and romantic, and she’s never felt so happy. But then Cassidy hears disturbing news about Jonah and his friends and reads their internet forum. She is shocked by some of their views. How could her kind, sensitive boyfriend be so intolerant?
