The fear of snakes is called ophiophobia. Most species of snakes are not venomous. All snakes are carnivores. Snakes can swallow prey larger than their heads. Snakes don't have eyelids. Snakes are found on every continent except Antarctica Snakes can range from about 10 cm long to over 6 metres! Snakes smell with their tongue.
