Only Kirk can help Picard stop a madman. Captain James T. Kirk is a guest on the maiden voyage of the U.S.S. Enterprise 1701-B, during which the ship encounters a mysterious energy phenomenon moving through our galaxy. In the attempt to save the crew, Kirk disappears without a trace. Seventy-eight years later, Captain Picard receives a distress call from an observatory. A scientist has stolen a superweapon, the use of which threatens the entire universe. Picard must stop him.
