Lyman Frank Baum, an influential American author, is celebrated for his children's literature, particularly the Oz series, which includes 14 novels. His creative output spans 41 novels, 83 short stories, and numerous poems and scripts. Baum's journey included various roles, from theater producer to newspaper editor, before he published "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" in 1900. His works have significantly impacted stage and film, with the 1939 movie adaptation becoming iconic. In his later years, he pursued establishing a children's film studio in Los Angeles.
