The Child of the Cavern

Set in a depleted Scottish coal mine, the story centers on engineer James Starr, who returns at the request of his old friend Simon Ford. Upon arrival, he discovers the Ford family living underground, drawn by the promise of a newly found coal vein. As Starr settles back in, eerie and supernatural events begin to unfold, prompting him and the Fords to delve into the mystery over several years, leading to startling discoveries that challenge their understanding of reality.
