Free-Radical-Induced DNA Damage and Its Repair

Focusing on the advancements in understanding free-radical-induced DNA damage, this book reviews current knowledge beyond what was covered in previous works. It highlights that DNA damage arises not only from ionizing radiation but also from various free-radical sources. Although the original plan included a section on DNA repair mechanisms, it was ultimately omitted due to space constraints.
