Malbrook

Set in 1980, the story follows a sixteen-year-old black youth who becomes a victim of a brutal attack by a high school fraternity. Alex Moran, a member of a neighboring fraternity, intervenes but not before significant harm is done. As the victim seeks justice, Alex finds himself caught between the victim and his own fraternity brothers, who embrace a dangerous neo-Nazi ideology. The narrative explores themes of racism, identity, and the clash of values as Alex's chapter makes a progressive choice to admit black students, challenging the status quo.
