The Gospels of the Marginalized

Focusing on three often-misunderstood figures in the New Testament, this study reinterprets Thomas, Mary Magdalene, and Judas Iscariot. Fresh translations of their gospels reveal Thomas as a seeker of truth rather than a doubter, portray Mary as a cherished disciple, and challenge the narrative of Judas as a mere betrayer. Through striking analysis, the author repositions these figures within the Jesus movement and presents a "Gospel of the Redeemed," envisioning a more nuanced portrayal of Jesus as a Jewish teacher of wisdom surrounded by loyal followers.
