Focusing on the aging process of older adults in Castilla La-Mancha, this study emphasizes the experiences of women in rural versus urban settings. It builds on earlier research initiatives and highlights the significant impact of gender on aging, revealing disparities in resources and opportunities. The analysis addresses the effectiveness of current programs and interventions, questioning their ability to meet the needs of both sexes equally. Ultimately, the work aims to uncover the realities faced by women in rural areas and advocate for equal opportunities for active aging.
