The Nex

A mysterious necklace transports teenager Miranda Candle to The Nex, a city at the center of all possible universes. There, she joins rebels Howlaa, a skinshifter, and Wisp, a bodiless entity, in their fight against the oppressive Regent and his army of steam-powered colossi and cyborgs. As they navigate this bizarre world, Miranda uncovers the complexities of rebellion and friendship. The volume also includes two bonus stories, "Dream Engine" and "We Go Back," adding depth to the narrative.
